Seems that ‘Steelers Week’ hit early in Baltimore, as their head coach, John Harbaugh, wasn’t too happy about questions coming in Sunday after the teams rather lackluster 24-17 win over the awful Browns.
“We don’t care,” he said. “It doesn’t make any difference to us. Ok, you asked me last summer what I thought about the Steelers without Ben Roethlisberger. Does anybody remember? None of you wrote it. What did I say? You don’t even remember, do you? I said they’re going to be a very good football team, no matter who is playing quarterback. And that’s turned out to be true, right? So listen, this is a darned good football team. They have a great defense, they have a great running game, they have dangerous wide receivers, their special teams are much improved. So we’re not surprised that they’re 3-0, but we don’t care. We’re going to play the game.”
Wow John, a little testy already are we about the Steelers? It will be a great lead up week as the Steelers look to go to 4-0 against their biggest rival, and this little tirade by Harbaugh is just the beginning of what should be quite a week of back and forth.

The media is horrible. I am a big Steelers fan, but I don’t think Coach Harbaugh is a little testy about the Steelers. I think he’s testy about the media twisting and turning his every word. He’s upset because he has already stated his opinion and the all-hearing media didn’t even pay attention. His frustration is coming from the media making it look like he can’t handle himself and his team.

Coach Harbaugh has gotten testy with the media before about several issues but with the Steelers question it’s different. I agree with you the media is always looking for some subplot that doesn’t exist. Some fans were hoping that the Steelers would stumble out of the gate without Roethlisberger and when Harbaugh was asked back in the Summer he said the same thing Sunday he said then.
They’re a good team. We’re a good team. Should be a great game Sunday.
I expect most of the talking for this game to be on the field from both teams.

Ahhh..it’s Steelers vs Ravens week and I wouldn’t expect anything else but a coach getting a little testy. I just know it won’t be our coach. Gotta love Tomlin’s grounded approach. Doesn’t get too high or to low. Whoever throws the 1st punch, you can bet the other won’t back down. That’s what makes this rivalry so special. I still consider the Ravens the old Ozzie Newsome, Brian Sipe etc. Browns anyway…Go Stillers!!!!
