Mike Tomlin’s Tuesday presser shed some light on the ongoing injury situations surrounding the team, and one thing out of the press conference is that Jonathan Scott will be the starter at left tackle against Titans Sunday if Max Starks is unable to play.
Starks hurt his ankle Sunday against the Falcons, and from all indications it would take a lot for him to be able to get on the field in time for Sunday’s game, but Tomlin did say the ankle was better today. Right now though one right now would think we will see Scott for the game on Sunday.
As far as Casey Hampton goes, the hammy is still hurting, but Tomlin said they will continue to monitor it and will check it later in the week. Chris Hoke would get the start for Hampton if he is unable to go vs a good Titans O-line that will try to shove Chris Johnson down the Steelers throats.

Yo,
I know most of us prefer the radio guys’ play-by-play and color over most TV networks’ counterparts but Dick Stockton’s…”Mendenhall….MENDENHALL….FIRST DOWN…INSIDE THE 30…MENDENHALL KEEPS HIS FOOTING AND SCORES TO WIN THE GAME!” is an AWESOME TV call so let’s give DIck Stockton his props!

I agree Jay. I was jacked during that call. I understand it was because I could see that they were going to win. I figure, at that point, I wouldnt have cared who was making the call.
