For those out there that like to check Odds and where the Steelers stack up, those ‘Vegas Insiders’ are not all that high on the team that will start the season without their franchise QB.
In checking out gambling site Bodog.com a little earlier, the odds for the Steelers to win the Super Bowl in 2011 in Dallas, Texas were 20 to 1.
Here’s how the site has the entire AFC North matching up in that regard:
Browns 100/1
Ravens 14/1
Bengals 30/1
Steelers 20/1
It’s almost funny to even have the Browns on the list considering how bad they are, and even after winning the North last year, does anyone really think the Bengals could be in the Super Bowl this season? Me neither.
As for the AFC, the Steelers are 10 to 1 to win the Conference, with the Ravens having a slight edge there as well:
Ravens 8 to 1
Bengals 16 to 1
Browns 40 to 1
Steelers 10 to 1
At the end of the day, those in Vegas seem to feel the division will belong to Baltimore, while the Steelers will wrap up second, the Bengals third, and the Browns in the basement.
