Steelers get a steal in round six?

Today of course is the day that every so called “expert” comes out with their steals and reaches and draft grades, and one that has already caught my eye is that of Russ Lande, writer for the Sporting News. He says that the Steelers got the ‘Steal of the Draft,’ taking running back Jonathan Dwyer with their 6th round pick:

1. Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Steelers (Round 6, Pick 188). A first-round prospect at one time, he slid because of a bad 40 time and a questionable drug test. He could become a valuable backup to Rashard Mendenhall and a possible starter down the line.

Matt Loede has been in the sports media for over 16 years, with experience covering the MLB, NBA, and NFL. On Sunday’s during football season, you can hear Matt on national networks like Fox Sports Radio, Associated Press, and others. Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, Matt studies and talks football inside and out, and is anxious to share his thoughts and comments with readers on a daily basis.

yeah it was a steal. it is ashamed what that espn sportswriter did to this kid with horrible reporting. he was mistakenly placed on the wrong drug list by the nfl doctor. he has add and has taken medication for it since elementary school…espn made him look like he had done something wrong. nfl approved it for pre-existing condition. but because of that jerk at espn he fell on the draft boards. yeah stealers got a steal of a deal…but yall are going to pay him in 3 years…watch…this kid is a beast.
