The Pittsburgh Steelers invite fans to help kickoff the 2010 season at the Steelers Fan Blitz, presented by Comcast! This is an annual event for all Steelers fans as an appreciation day for your great fan support. This year’s draft day event will be held on Saturday April 24 from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM at Heinz Field. Exciting details are listed below:
Tickets for your entire day at Heinz Field will cost $12 for Adults and $5 for children 12 and under. They are now sale at http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/16004452EE5F8CC2 and the Steelers Sideline Stores at: * Monroeville Mall * South Hills Village * Pittsburgh Mills * Prime Outlets at Grove City The Steelers Ticket Office will open at 10:00 am Saturday for event day ticket sales. All six Super Bowl Trophies will be on display to the general public on the stage in The Coca-Cola Great Hall. The Coca-Cola Great Hall will also feature the Steelers Sideline Store for the best selections of Steelers merchandise anywhere. The 2010 #1 Draft Pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers will be at Heinz Field on Saturday to address the fans! Central Blood Bank will hold a Blood Drive in the North Club Lounge during the Steelers Fan Blitz. All pre-registered fans donating blood will receive free admission to this year’s event. The Steelers will hold Youth Skill Sessions on the playing field for Youth 14 and under conducted by the following current Steelers players: 1:30 – Secondary drills – Ryan Mundy and Joe Burnett 3:00 – Tight end/receiving drills – Matt Spaeth The player’s schedules, locations and times are subject to change. All fans will be permitted on the playing field to attempt field goals throughout the day. Current and former Steelers Player autographs will be held in the Coca-Cola Great Hall, East Club Lounge, West Rotunda and the West Concourse areas from 11:00 am — 5:00 pm. Players currently scheduled to appear include Dan Sepulveda, Matt Spaeth, Ryan Mundy, Joe Burnett, Derrick Doggett, Jason Cherry, Jason Gildon, Louis Lipps, Tunch Ilkin, Craig Wolfley, Mike Wagner, Gerry Mullins, John Banaszak, Randy Grossman, J.T. Thomas, Larry Brown, Bryan Hinkle, Dwayne Woodruff, Robin Cole, Craig Bingham, Edmund Nelson, and Andy Russell. The player’s schedules, locations and times are subject to change. Comcast will have special interactive activities for kids of all ages in the East Club including a meet and greet with Scooby Doo and the Cartoon Network. We will have the Schneider Downs Pick the Draft Pick Contest and the Schneider Downs Draft Day GM Contest in the East Club Lounge for our “Draft nicks” to participate. WDVE-FM will also be broadcasting live throughout the day. Register to win great prizes including tickets to Steelers home games from the Comcast Prize Tent in the South Plaza. Test your passing skills at the Comcast Quarterback Challenge for a chance to win 4 tickets to the first Steelers regular season home game. The Pro Football Hall of Fame, American Respiratory Alliance, Sprint, and Cricket Communications will have booths in the South Plaza with product information available for all fans. The Cricket Wireless Interactive truck will be on hand in the South Plaza for a chance to view the latest in technology and for fans to win great prizes. As part of the Sprint Phone-A-Friend program, fans will have an opportunity to win a phone call from a Steelers player to a friend. Drawings will be held at 11:45 am and 2:15 pm. The lucky fans selected will win a phone call to a friend from one of two Steelers players. All fans who register will receive a Steelers/Sprint drawstring backpack as supplies last. Steelers Experience elements will be available in the South Plaza as well for kids of all ages to enjoy. Game Faces will be face painting to gear up for the new season The Steelers Locker Room will be open to the public and feature the following: · An opportunity for fans to try on Steelers equipment of a Steelers player. · Sign-up for the Official Steelers Fan Clubs with a level available for every fan. · Subscribe to Steelers Digest at a special Steelers Fan Blitz rate of $40 and receive a free drawstring backpack. In addition, everyone who subscribes will be eligible to win one of four Six-Time Super books signed by Coach Mike Tomlin. Steely McBeam will be present the entire day to meet and greet Steelers fans. |
