Reports say that the Steelers have come to terms with veteran free agent defensive end Nick Eason. Last season he filled in and ended up starting five-games. “He wanted to stay in Pittsburgh because of his love of the city and the team,” agent David Wyatt told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Eason visited the Arizona Cardinals, but the 29-year-old opted to stick with the Steelers after registering 16 tackles last season. Per the report, defensive end Travis Kirschke is expected to retire and that could lead to a bigger role for Eason and Ziggy Hood.

Eason is a solid back-up and Hood might be on the verge of serious playing time next season.Kirschke was a good player and did a nice job of filling in when called upon. Good luck to him. I want to see Hood more next year anyway. He was a 1st round pick and could give us the pressure from a lineman that would only produce more opportunity. A healthy Aaron Smith on that line and an underrated Kiesel sharing duties can be a huge advantage to keeping guys fresh.

Does anyone subscribe to pg plus? Is it worth it? Boucherte is such a lazy ass that I am not sure if the content will be any better. Just curious.
