… uh, don’t forget that he hasn’t even BEEN charged with anything yet. Police are still talking to everyone involved before deciding what action to take. Might want to edit or amend those options up there to include “He won’t be charged” …

I definitely agree with Meridith! I don’t think he’ll even be charged with anything. Plain and simple whoever this girl is was partying with 2 time Super Bowl champ and living it up. Afterward she slipped and hit her head and had to go to the hospital and then for some stupid reason decided to say that “Ben Rothlesburger sexually assaulted me!” Before you even think about this lets ask ourselves a simple question… Why in the world would Big Ben HAVE to sexually assault any woman. They are probably bowing to his feet! This guy is one of the most amazing QB’s in the league and doesn’t need to sexually assault anyone. He should press charges on her for trying to slander his name!!!!

I read the report from Jason LaCanfora –he seems to believe the Rooney family will dump Ben if this happens again. I just hope he did not buy alcohol for the ’20’ year old. If she fell because she was drunk, either Ben or the bar or both are in trouble. I hope Mr. Roethlisberger has learned that he needs to be seen publicly with grace and dignity. His party days can resume as soon as he leaves the Steelers organization but they aren’t likely to put up with tarnishing the team’s image for long.

Yeah but no matter what, the Rooneys arent going to dump their 2-time SuperBowl qb… its just not going to happen. The Rooneys are stern people, yet they are forgiving. I wouldnt be surprised to see the FO try to put a positive spin on Ben’s issue IF found guilty. Maybe something along the lines of rehabilitating their Super QB. Also Marcy, idk how old you are, but people shouldnt be surprised that a 20 year old girl was in a bar anyway. Im in college and I know plenty of girls that get into bars with fake IDs or flirt their way in. I dont approve of it, but its a college bar and I gaurentee that she wasnt the only underaged person there.
