PFW talks about the Steelers being in the market for another RB if and when “Fast” Willie Parker bolts via free agency:
Steelers running back Willie Parker, who lost his job to Rashard Mendenhall, is an unrestricted free agent who may not be re-signed. The Steelers’ third-down back, Mewelde Moore, didn’t play as well in 2009 as he did the previous season, but if Parker departs, Moore could be next in line, behind Mendenhall, to be Pittsburgh’s featured back. In short, it seems likely the Steelers will look to add at least one running back in the offseason – perhaps a bruising complement to the speedy Mendenhall, something the Steelers lacked this season and could use in the rugged AFC North, as some have suggested – in free agency or in the draft.
Not a shock, as I can see them looking long and hard at both free agency and the draft for a back. Of course don’t discredit Mewelde Moore as well, as he has quietly gotten the job done over the past two seasons when called upon.

Mendy and Moore will do just fine… I would love to get a better look at Redman for next season.

I agree, George. In the short time that Redman was with the team during the preseason, he looked tough. At least deserving of a better look in regular season action with different defensive looks.
