Possible ways the Steelers make the playoffs:
FOR THE 5TH SEED
1) Steelers win out.
2) Houston loses one.
3) Jags, Jets and Denver lose or tie one game and Baltimore loses to Pittsburgh AND loses or ties the Raiders.
Results:
5th seed: Pittsburgh 9-7
6th seed: Denver 9-7
We claim the 5th spot based on a head to head sweep of the Titans and Broncos.
FOR THE 6TH SEED:
1) Steelers win out.
2) Titans win out OR Houston loses one.
3) Jags, Jets and Denver lose or tie one game (Baltimore 5th seed, Pittsburgh 6th)
OR
3) Jets and Denver lose or tie one game and Baltimore loses to Pittsburgh AND loses or ties the Raiders. (Jags 5th, Pittsburgh 6th)
OR
3) Jags and Denver lose or tie one game and Baltimore loses to Pittsburgh AND loses or ties the Raiders. (Jets 5th, Pittsburgh 6th)
OR
3) Jags and Jets lose or tie one game and Baltimore loses to Pittsburgh AND loses or ties the Raiders. (Denver 5th, Pittsburgh 6th)

You gotta believe. There is not a team in this league the steelers cannont beat. I know they have had problems in the secondary but a healthy 43 is a difference maker. Period. He makes everyone around him better and play with more confidence. 43 simply makes plays and that is exactly what this team needs.

everytime we score a td this year our suck ass defense comes back and allows a td!
-1st round-corner
-2nd round-Tackle
-3rd round-FS or ILB

Fuck Bruce Arians, seriously, he’s garbage….a play action play pass designed to have a suck tight end (spaeth) blocking on Ngata with a chip from mendenhall…Wow…I hope I get the opportunity someday to coach against him…That’s a win falling out of bed! Parker gets four or five yards on left tackle midway through the second quarter and then two straight passes and a punt…Arians is a joke!

Here we go again…Pitt scores to end 1st half, Baltimore’s opening second half drive is a TD! OUR defense sucks!!!!!!

There ya go, Thomas Crowley, dirty birds, Ngata on the special teams exchange…tsk, tsk, tsk…as far as we’re concerned, I guess Arians has a philosophy or personal rule against running two running plays in a row…take running back out of backfield, send all the receivers at least ten to fifteen yards down the field and expect THAT offensive line to hold up….17 sacks against ben in last three games…It’s a total suck team effort to have that many sacks but I believe it starts with Arians assinine belief to drop back a quarterback that often behind a subpar offensive line….no clock management, no time of possession equals a tired defense….I know I’m beating a dead horse but i can hardly stomach watching this team I have to vent.

Dr. George, or Mark, are you out there….please make me feel better with some wit. It is 4:30 left in the third and we are up by three and our #$%@ kick coverage just gave up a big return….What do we do as Steeler nation to accept this very bad football we’re getting post super bowl victory season?!?

Ummm, Yeah we won but what was up with the third down play call!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, what was up with Ben TREMENDOUSLY underthrowing Wallace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND, what is up with Tomlin/Arians and their sucking each other cocks’ duo, with TOTALLY not trusting the defense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean, run the ball, punt and Balt gets the ball at the 20 with about 1:10 left and no timeouts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have to conceivably go about 50 to 60 yards in that amount of time and a gimpy Mason and NO REAL OTHER DEEP THREATS!!!!!!!!!!!! The Steelers are making me rethink what I thought I knew about football but now I don’t think I know that much because everything I thought I knew, Pitt does the opposite, should lose but wins anyway!!!!!!!! I might need to start taking meds watching this team!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Jay, you made it through huh? LOL. That was a tough one. Arians is an idiot. Less then 50 yards rushing when Mendy had 94 last time they played? Pitiful play calling. Glad the defense stood up and made a play or 2 in the 4th qrt. to lock this up. what was Ben doing throwing that balloon out there to Wallace with less than 2 minutes to go? He didn’t know that penalty was on the Ravens. Bad call by Ben. Woodley has played BIG in the last 3 weeks. Gay, Townsend, doesn’t matter. Big cushions and horrible pass coverage by the secondary. I know Flacco only had 165 or so, but Heap hasnt been this effective in 3 years and what does he do today? 2 TD’s. Ty Carter played a decent game and Ike Taylor actually made a few positive plays (sack & FR).On another note, the Colts really hurt us today. sitting starters in the 3rd when your going for perfection? Caldwell is a jerk! If I was a Colt fan, hell even the players should be fuming! That Jet “win” might have killed us for a playoff spot. Jay, i think if they all end 9-7, it would be the Ravens and Texans. Problem is the Jets now control their own destiny too!

The steelers defence is sucha joke right now. we need a healthy palamalu back and they need to get a better corner back and back up free safety and strong safety. As usual we got lucky because the other team fucked up with 11 penalties and a droped touch Down and Bruce fucked up with some shity ass play calling. I hope to God his ass gets fired this off season.

All those in here are right, it is the poor Stillers defense that has to step up.
