The National Football Post is reporting that they are hearing rumors that the Steelers’ locker room problems are serious. Mike Tomlin and Pittsburgh management are upset with wide receiver Hines Ward for exacerbating the situation with his public criticism of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Ward, who is as tough as any player in the NFL, acknowledged during an interview with NBC that only Roethlisberger knows for sure how he felt in the days leading up to the game but he didn’t do his quarterback – his teammate and supposed friend for the past six years – any favors by pointing out that he and a lot of other guys would do just about anything to play in “almost a must-win” game, even if it means lying to team doctors.

Where there is smoke, there is fire. I doubt the problem is considered a grave situation, but when a team is losing games like this any problem can quickly become out of control. Tomlin has work to do. Not only losing his team performance wise, but now a usually internal problem has become public. As the head coach, Tomlin MUST assert authority and create a better mentality in that locker room. What happened to “a band of brothers”?
As for Ward, we know he is tough but I think this persona of toughness is creating an ego the same size. C’mon Hines. Dont call out your Q.B or question a teammate as important or as productive as Ben. Ben takes a beating every weekend and plays. He had a life threatening accident and missed 1 game(not accident related), he is responsible for your 2 championships(you had none until he arrived). Mentally and physically, Ben is tough. Sure he can be a whiner, but he plays. Hines may have created an irreversible situation that could effect the team for a long time. At least until certain players are no longer in that locker room.

Grammar Thomas… yeah the Steelers are having a down season but the most points we lost by was 7. The Steelers could of won all of those games this year and were in position to. Sometimes the ball just doesnt bounce your way but I would still love to see them finish strong. Clearly changes have to be made!
1.) Coaching- O-Line coach, Special teams coach, and Offensive Coordinator.
2.)Secondary- Gay is horrid, no backup for Troy and not one of the dbs look at the ball and would rather make a big hit.
3.)Special teams- No explaination needed.
Im personally nerveous about the draft evaluation since Tomlin has arrived. Yes he has a few good picks, but you build championships with lower round picks and that is also a direct result of poor special teams.

George it doesn’t matter how bad u lost is a lost in the nfl. The steelers haven’t gotten lucky in those close games like last year this year. So again i repeat the steelers are a fucking joke and so are steeler fans hahahahaha.
