Gaddamn, Mendenhall has looked like a stud since entering Tomlin’s doghouse.

In the Minn. game, except for two off tackle slants, Mendy looked more like a gelding than a stud. Like Parker, he is a broken field runner, and he has a nifty spin move, but he is definitely not a power runner. His fumble on the 3 yard line nearly cost us the Minn. game, and Moore (who has much better hands) finished the game in his place (as he did against Cleveland). Until this guy learns to run lower and protect the ball, he’s just an average back at best.
