NBA star Shaquille O’Neal has tried movies, rapping and more, but he’s never headed to the football field. Until now. Seems that the newest Cleveland Cavalier will be coming to Western Pennsylvania to take on Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger in his new reality show “Shaq Vs.”
Shaq will be in PA on Friday, July 24th, and he will go one-on-one with Roethlisberger in a football challenge at the Ambridge High School’s newly renovated Moe Rubenstein stadium. You can see it for free, as the taping of the show will be open to the public, but as of now the time for the taping has not been released.
“This has the potential to be one of the biggest sports and entertainment attractions in the Beaver County and Western Pennsylvania area in a long, long time,” Ambridge Athletic Director Randy Cosgrove said. “To have been selected as the site for this unique show is really a great honor.”
If nothing else, it’ll be another chance for Pittsburgh to get one over on Cleveland, even though it has nothing to do with the crappy Browns.
