Not a good start to a couple of practice sessions for the defending champs. But hey, it could have been worse.
Today Steelers franchise QB Ben Roethlisberger tweaked his knee during a practice session, and while he limped on it for sometime after, the Post-Gazette reports that it appears there was no severe damage.
Mike Tomlin nor Ben would talk about the injury after it took place. Trainer John Norwig took a look at Roethlisberger, who limped around the field and then stretched the knee. He watched the rest of the practice session, and then limped off the field with teammates.
The Steelers have four more scheduled voluntary practices, one on Thursday and three next week before they break June 11 until training camp opens in late July.
