The Post-Gazette reported today that it looks like the Steelers have made up their minds, and will be parting ways with Marvel Smith. The agent said that Smith has plans to move on, while the Steelers are going to do what it takes to get a long-term deal to Max Starks and guard Chris Kemoeatu. The paper says that the teams decision to give Starks $8.5 million and no phone call to Smith’s agent means that he’ll move on. Not much of a surprise.
