SteelersGab Number 6 on Our List of the Biggest Steelers Rivals of All-Time

Cowboys Steelers Football
They’re the teams that Steelers fans have grown to hate over the years. When you see these teams on the schedule, your blood starts to boil just a little bit more, and you start counting the days till those games. Why of course it’s the rivals of the Steelers that we’re talking about, and here we go with the teams top 10 all-time rivals. Today we continue with number 6:

6. Dallas Cowboys – These two teams don’t meet often, but there is usually a lot on the line when they do. They are the only two teams ever to have met three times in the Super Bowl, with the Steelers winning in Super Bowls X and XIII, and Dallas gaining some revenge with a win in Super Bowl XXX in 1995. Since that game in 95, the teams have only met three times, with the Steelers winning twice, including a memorable 20-13 win in 2008 as the team came back from a 13-3 fourth quarter deficit to score 10 points to tie the game, and then Deshea Townsend picked off a Tony Romo pass and returned it for a score to win the game with less than 2 minutes to play. The memories of Staubach vs Bradshaw and Landry vs Noll is what always will make Cowboys-Steelers games ones to remember.

I still think the 95 superbowl was my pick. We won that game! They were at the point where they couldn’t stop us offensively or defensively. Look at the 1st half tape of Lloyd going against a guy over 100 pounds more than him and then look at the 2nd half when their all pro LT couldn’t stop Lloyd. We were running down there throats! all we had to do it hand off and keep getting 1st downs. Neal got a huge secret payday from Jerry Jones and Larry (whatever) when on to make millions because of Neal’s generosity.

I’m still in therapy over that SB30.

This is the big rivalry for me. I’d rather see Baltimore, Cleveland, Cincy, and New England go 19-0 than to watch Dallas take another SB. I hate the Cowboys.

Me too Mark. O’Donnel sold us out. I’d love to run into him sometime.
