Steelers LB LaMarr Woodley was in a slump near the end of the season, going the final four games during the regular season without registering a sack. Woodley had 11.5 sacks in his first 12 games before suddenly not beng able to get one on opposing QB’s.
Consider that slump over.
Woodley showed up last Sunday just when the Steelers needed him, as he recorded five tackles and two sacks of Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers. Here’s hoping Joe Flacco will feel that same type of pain tomorrow night at Heinz Field.
“I was aware but it wasn’t a big thing for me,” Woodley said of his lack of sacks. “We were winning, and when you’re winning football games that’s all that counts. There’s plenty of guys around the league that have a lot of sacks and aren’t where we are right now.”
Good point, and as long as the Steelers win tomorrow, it likely won’t matter who gets the sacks, but look for Woodley to have another hot game for a player that seems to step up at the big times.

Best of Luck to the deserving team the Steelerz. I have said alot of prayers and rosaries for them as they deserve this out of all the 4 teams. The Ravens were lucky and that’s all they were. Get it going strong!!!!
