A lot of the talk today on the injury front has been about the calf injury that was suffered in the pregame Sunday by safety Troy Polamalu. Mike Tomlin said today that Troy hurt the calf in warmups, and that he will only work out lightly for the first few practices this week before the AFC Title Game on Sunday vs the Ravens.
“We’re at the point of the season where it’s about getting ready to play and being at the very best you can be on game day,” Tomlin said today. “If that means sacrificing a little physical preparation for him, we’re willing to do that.”
Troy still played the whole game Sunday vs the Chargers, so in the end it must not have been all that bad.

Well that answers the questions on why Troy looked so un-troy like Sunday night. Many people noticed his play was sub-par, at least from the tv angles. Everyone expects him to play at such a high level so any thing less is ALWAYS noticed. Im sure he will be fine and the Steelers will be up for this game like no other game of the Tomlin era.
