As promised, the Steelers are a rather healthy team as they get set for Sunday’s showdown with the Chargers. As a matter a fact, the only player even on the injury report is QB Ben Roethlisberger. Roethlisberger practiced for a third straight day Friday and is listed as probable coming off the concussion he suffered in the regular-season finale. Look for Ben to play, and the team will need another type of outing they got the last time the teams played November 16th.
James Harrison is just fine as far as the hip injury is concerned, and any other players coming back off injury (Ryan Clark) is okay and he has been on the practice field this week as well. Look for them to be just about as close to 100 percent as they can be, unlike the Chargers, who are banged up with LaDainian Tomlinson being listed as doubtful, and TE Antonio Gates being banged up with an ankle inury. He has not practiced this week at all, but reports say he’ll try and play.
