There is already a lot of talk about the classless Titans stomping on the Steelers Terrible Towels near the end of Sunday’s 31-17 loss. LenDale White, who is about as much of a thug as they come, was probably at the forefront of leading the way. Another unwise move was Jevon Kearse, who was pretending (or maybe he actually did) blow his nose in a towel. Keith Bullock, who should know better as a vet, was also in on the act.
Now we all remember what happened the last time a team disgraced the towel – the 2005 Cincinnati Bengals. They came into Pittsburgh and basically won the division with a victory over the Steelers. Bengals mouthy WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh used a towel to wipe his feet in the tunnel after the game. We all know what happened a month later in Cincy.
So how will this one play out? Just ask Larry Foote, who calmly said that he knows how this story ends up. “Nothing wrong with that. They deserved it. They deserved to do that, they whooped us, they deserve to celebrate and, hopefully, we’ll see them again.” And we’ll see in the end if they are still using towels to disrespect the black and gold.

Pathetic…Again, where are all these yo-yo “other team” fans when we win??? Anyway, all it means when a team like Tennessee does what it did to the terrible towel is reflect the classlessness of their head coach, jeff Fischer….Who challenged a catch by Calvin Johnson on Thanksgiving when he was up by like 30 points with 3 minutes to play…pathetic…The nfl needs good character people and yo-yo’s like the above guy or fischer or belichick or all stlye no substance teams like dallas and T.O. and this pass happy bullshit although do add good drama and make for a good soap…but you are all the villain! Teams with character like Pittsburgh will always prevail and we got 5 trophies to prove it!
