Well, all I can say is things seemed to start well, but I can’t say that I am pleased with how things are progressing as we are now at the end of the first quarter.
The obvious play that everyone will talk about is Ben trying to run it in on 3rd down, and then fumbling the ball, which if you look is the THIRD TIME IN THREE WEEKS he’s fumbled (though last week was as good as a pick). He did have Nate Washington open in the end zone, but already was in his run when he may or may not have seen Nate.
As for losing James Harrison, time for others to step up, including guys like Lawrence Timmons, who did so on that play against Chris Johnson. So far, they have had two great shots to score, blew them both, and now have to get that offense in stride.

Please. Our D plays great but the O? Ariens hasn’t called a good game yet. We win INSPITE of his plays, not because of them. We get the ball on the Teen 41, move down to the 3 and them go backward. Ben fumbles a couple times partly because Ariens’ plays take a half hour to develop. Stevie Wonder can see this. No matter how we end up doing, Ariens has got to GO!!!

Jeffinva,
I second your motion.
That fat-assed walrus who thinks he can call plays has got to go!
And while were at it, Ben should give back most of that salary he ‘earns’; he reminds me of a CEO who runs a company into the ground and still thinks its all right to make all of that money.
