ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that O-lineman Marvel Smith is going to miss the rest of the 08 season, and also will have back surgery. He hasn’t played since the teams game in Jacksonville back on October 5th, and Max Starks, who has played terrible in his place, likely will stay in the starting role. Smith is a nine-year vet and has started every game that he has played in since his second year, and did start the first five games of the season until the injury.
