Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward says that he is going to appeal a set of fines handed down by the NFL that will lighten his wallet by 15-thousand dollars. Ward was fined five thousand dollars for hurtling a player along the Baltimore sidelines in an overtime in at Heinz Field and another 10-thousand dollars for an unspecified play in the Jacksonville game. Steeler Chairman Dan Rooney has also entered the fray writing a letter to NFL headquarters in New York demanding the fines be waived.
