For those that wanted to see a lot of rookie RB Rashard Mendenhall in week one, don’t hold your breath. Talking today at his first pregame presser of the season, coach Mike Tomlin said that Mendenhall’s ability to hold on to the football, which has been an issue this preseason, will directly determine how much he plays. He has lost three fumbles the last two games. As far as kickoff duties go, Tomlin said that Mendenhall will handle those duties against Houston.

The Willie Williams deal at Brewerie will be bigger with more of the former Steelers as well as some other local sports celebs. Pat Monahan even donated a signed guitar for the auction. The proceeds are going to a worthy cause at Brewerie. Also, everyone will have a chance to mingle with the players.
