The Steelers continue to sign their draft picks, as they followed the two signings Monday with today inking fifth round pick QB Dennis Dixon of Oregon. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting it’s a three-year deal with a signing bonus of $130,000. It is known what type, if any, impact Dixon could have with the team this year, as he’s coming off a torn ACL that stopped his possible run at the Heisman Trophy. Before he got hurt, he before his injury he completed 67.7 percent of his passes for 8.4 yards per attempt, 20 touchdowns, and only four interceptions.
