In some minor Steelers news, the team officially got a deal in place with wide out Nate Washington, as he signed a one-year deal worth $1.4 million for the 2008 season. Washington was a restricted free agent, and the team had tendered him a deal awhile back. Washington will enter his fourth season with the Steelers, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2005. Last season, Washington caught 29 passes for 450 yards with a career-high five touchdowns. He has 64 catches for 1,057 yards with nine scores in 33 games, including five starts.
