The Steelers are a little tight under the salary cap. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette is reporting that the Black & Gold have only $1.3-million in salary cap room after signing Ben Roethlisberger and Mewelde Moore earlier in the week. The Steelers could free-up some cap room if they remove the transition tag off Max Starks. The Steelers are tying up $7-million with that tag. The Steelers entertained another free agent on Thursday, Chris Crocker, a free agent safety from Atlanta.
