Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, director of football operations Kevin Colbert and the team’s scouts are in Indianapolis, where they spent the weekend scouting players at the annual NFL combine. Tomlin told the “Pittsburgh Post Gazette” that he’s much more comfortable going into this year’s combine and draft than he was last year. Tomlin says he has a much better feel for his team’s needs and the Steelers’ way. Tomlin says he knows the offensive line and other areas that need to be addressed, and the draft and free agency will be two of the ways they look to improve the club. Tomin reiterated the team will probably draft the best player available when it’s their turn because he likes flexibility in the roster.
