Jags running back Fred Taylor spent the day Tuesday bashing the field at Heinz Field. “That field is terrible,” Taylor said in a conference call. “That’s a lawsuit pending. That’s ridiculous.” The back ran over the Steelers for 147 yards in the teams 29-22 win on December 16th. They will meet again on Saturday night in a rematch in an AFC Wild Card game. Despite having some of the worst weather games this season, including one that was played on the field when neither team could do basically nothing, the Steelers will not be going to artificial turf in 2008. “I prefer grass, but these cold-weather teams, late in the season, they allow high schools to play on their field and they allow colleges to play on their field,” said Taylor. “It just goes completely bad. So I think a million-dollar investment won’t hurt their pockets.” Not going to happen Fred, so get ready Saturday night to deal with it.
