Depending on medical clearances and a final decision by Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, it is entirely possible that defensive end Aaron Smith could see some action in Sunday’s game between the Steelers and Cleveland Browns. According to Tomlin, “Aaron is doing well to the point where we’re going to use him some. He’s going to go at a limited basis, and we’ll proceed with caution from there. Aaron has a chance to play this week.” Prior to October 21, when he sprained his knee against the Denver Broncos, Smith had played in 115 consecutive games, including the playoffs.
