The Steelers practice today at their practice facility on the South Side as they begin preparations for Monday night’s game against Baltimore at Heinz Field. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says tight end Jerame Tuman is doubtful with a back sprain. Tomlin says fullback Dan Kreider’s ankle injury is better than anticipated and could play on Monday night. Kreider left this past Sunday’s game at Cincinnati in the first quarter and did not return. Tomlin says safety Ryan Clark has a chance to play on Monday. Clark has been hampered by a spleen issue. Tomlin says everything is fine with Clark’s spleen and that it is more of a conditioning issue at this point since Clark hasn’t done anything since the flight to Denver. Wideout Santonio Holmes has a quad contusion and will be limited in practice but is expected to play. Defensive End Aaron Smith, who missed the Cincinnati game with a sprained knee, may have a chance to play on Monday according to Tomlin.
