The Steelers will be enjoying some time off this weekend as they have a bye. Head coach Mike Tomlin has given his players today and the weekend off. Tomlin worked the Steelers out in full pads on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday Tomlin called his players to the indoor practice facility and after a quick walk-through, gathered them at mid-field and held up a hand-drawn picture of a bone. Players immediately knew that meant no practice. In training camp players asked Tomlin to throw them a bone but he never did, until yesterday. The Steelers will return to their South Side facility on Monday to begin preparations for Denver.
