The agent for Steelers first-round draft pick Lawrence Timmons says a deal on a contract could be done by the time the Steelers report for training camp next week. Drew Rosenhaus says both sides have presented proposals and the negotiation process has been very productive. The Steelers have five of their eight 2007 draft choices under contract as they prepare for camp, which begins next Monday at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe. Along with the Florida State linebacker Timmons, the Steelers still have to come to terms on deals with second-round pick LaMarr Woodley and third-rounder Matt Spaeth.
