Steeler head coach Mike Tomlin says that the team’s bye week has helped cut down on the injury report headed into this Sunday night’s game against the Denver Broncos in Denver. Wide receivers Santonio Holmes and Hines Ward will start Sunday as will safety Troy Polamalu. Nose tackle Casey Hampton is expected to see some action still nursing a groin injury as is tight end Jerame Tuman who has missed two days of practice with a bad back. Safety Bryant McFadden will miss Sunday’s game with a high ankle sprain.
